 Situated on the mainland just 25 minutes from
Lefkas,
Preveza has Aktion airport nearby with regular flights to
Athens year round and International arrivals and
departures from end
of March through to October.
Flights from London take around 3 hours
and bring you
direct to one of the largest yacht sales areas in
Greece.
Preveza Marine, Aktio Marine and Cleopatra yards in
Preveza and
Aktio contain sizeable boat yards with scores
of boats and yachts
for sale, many ashore for storage and
sale during the off season. A
small marina is due for
completion in Preveza across from Preveza
Town by the
end of 2008/09.
The variety of boats for sale, particularly through yacht brokers in
Greece like Williams & Smithells are extensive and names such as
Feeling, Moody, Oyster, Northshore, Bowman, Wauquiez, Bavaria,
Westerly, Beneteau, Jeanneau, Elan, Dehler are well represented as
well as specialist custom cruising yachts from the boards of
designers such as Bruce Roberts.
