Winter engine work 2016.

Dismantling of the whole cooling system…

1. Fresh water (cooling liquid)…Bloc dismantled, cleaned, new gasket fitted, steel     elbow ‘coude’ replaced by an aluminium one. New 6 litres of ‘Volvo’ cooling liquid.
2. Sea water…Impeller and joints ‘spi’ changed after pump dismantled. New ‘Vetus’ sea water filter fitted.
New hoses fitted for sea water intake.
3. Gearbox oil changed. 1 litre of new oil.
4. Injectors dismantled, cleaned and checked.
5. Revision total of Yamaha outboard 2.5hp carbu, grease and oil, anode, new propeller.

Planned works for April 2017 when boat on hard for annual haul out.

New sea cock for engine sea water intake.
New tresses for stuffing box.
New bague (bush bracket) hydro lube on shaft.

Plus other works to be carried out by the owner eg…total cleaning of diesel tank etc..etc.
